How are we working to fulfill our
mission?
· The
Association gathers, studies, and disseminates facts and
information which lead to the development of a comprehensive
legislative program that will be helpful to decision makers in
the enactment and implementation of sound public policy
regarding economic development.
· The
Association develops and sustains partnerships for the purpose
of achieving economic growth.
· The
Association adopts position statements on issues affecting job
creation and tax policy relating to economic development
· The
Association enhances the knowledge, skills and visibility of
county economic development professionals.
· The
Association provides for information exchange and networking
among county economic professionals that will foster creative
solutions for the implementation and coordination of programs
and the judicious use of resources.
· The
Association works to remove barriers that prohibit or restrict
counties from
active participation in economic development.
· The
Association develops educational programs that foster
understanding as it relates to county economic development..
· The
Association maintains an affiliation with the Association of
Minnesota Counties
through utilization of staff and resources to
achieve the aforementioned purposes.
