economic development coordinator

Houston County (pop. 19,890) is seeking a fulltime Economic Development Coordinator to initiate and maintain a comprehensive economic development program.

This is a new position and requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in: economic development, planning, business administration, finance, or marketing; plus minimum two (2) years related experience OR any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Starting salary up to $53,000, depending on qualifications. This position also includes: paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays; a retirement program; and paid health and life insurance.
