lead to the development of a comprehensive legislative program
that will be helpful to decision makers in the enactment and
implementation of sound public policy regarding economic
development
We adopt position statements on issues affecting job creation and
tax policy relating to economic development
We enhance knowledge, skills, and visibility of county economic
development professionals
We provide for information exchange and networking among county
economic professional that will foster creative solutions for the
implementation and coordination of programs and the judicious use of
resources
We work to remove barriers that prohibit or restrict counties from
active participation in economic development
We develop educational programs that foster understanding as it
relates to county economic development
